{ Pouring the girl a cuppa, Rose nods and offers a smile. }

No problem. After all, you gave me a gummy bear when I was upset.

{ Viola takes the cup with slightly shaking hands and sits down, curling her feet up under her. She takes a sip of the tea too soon, burning her mouth and blows on it frantically to cool it. }

I have an ever-present stash of gummy bears. They’re like my cocaine. { smiles weakly }

“Thanks again, love,” Rose nods as she pops another gummy into her mouth and lets out a sigh. Meanwhile, in her head, the Wolf begins to paw about, nose in the air. This girl… she smells of time and stardust.

“You’re welcome,” Viola says softly. She pops another gummy bear in her mouth and folds her arms across her chest. She registers a strange expression on the other girl’s face and frowns slightly, wondering what she’s thinking about.

“S’all right,” Rose says, waving it off. She and Adrian… just need to get their shit together. Without the help of magic anons. Not an easy task, really. Actually very daunting and she doesn’t hesitate when offered sugar, popping the gummy bear into her mouth and murmuring a ‘thanks, love’. 

Viola simply nods. She doesn’t like to pry into others business. She chews the gummy bear and shakes the bag. “Take a few, if you want. I know sweeties always make me feel better.”

Rose shakes her head and clears her throat gently, “M’all right. Jus’ didn’t get much sleep last night.” Rubbing a hand over her face, she shrugs. “Bit of a row with my boyfriend. S’okay, though. Well, actually… m’not sure!” she laughed, the sound self-deprecating. 

“Oh…” Viola looks at her feet, kicking at the floor slightly. “I don’t… have much experience there, so I can’t offer any stellar advice, I’m afraid.” She pulls a little paper bag out of her pocket. “I’ve got these, though, and I’m willing to share.” She grins and pulls out a gummy bear, popping it in her mouth.
